TOMPKINSVILLE - Milton S. Emberton, 58, of Tompkinsville died at 10:49 a.m. Sept. 19, 2005, at Monroe County Medical Center. The Barren County native was a horse trainer and member of Tompkinsville Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Glidden Emberton and Mayme Stephens Emberton of Tompkinsville, who survives. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Home, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and will begin at 6 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association. Other survivors include a daughter, Cassandra Brown of Taylorsville; a brother, Rodger Emberton and his wife, Sharyl, of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Sue Bell and her husband, Kenneth, of Londonberry, N.H.; a grandchild; three nephews; a niece; and a great-niece.
