GLASGOW - Rosie Katherine Bray, 88, of Horse Cave, formerly of Barren County, died July 27, 2005, at a Horse Cave nursing home. The Metcalfe County native was a retired cook at the former Liberty Street School lunchroom in Glasgow and was a member of Dripping Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Freeland Gilley and Anna Coffey Gilley and the wife of the late James Offie Bray. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Alzheimer's Association, 3703 Taylorsville Road, Ste. 102, Louisville, KY 40220-1330. Survivors include three sons, Glen Dale Bray and James Gaylord Bray, both of Glasgow, and C.G. Bray and his wife, Phyllis, of Powell, Tenn.; two sisters, Esther McDonald of Glasgow and Bea Devore of Wabash, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Cheryl Law and her husband, Paul, of Powell, Stephen Bray of Germantown, Md., Laura Law and her husband, Sam, of Sweetgrass, Mont., Daniel Bray and his wife, Jessica, of Clinton, Tenn., Kathy Hagan and her husband, Richard, of Petersburg, Va., and Jimmy Bray and his wife, Stella, Lisa Bray and John Bray and his wife, Trina, all of Glasgow; and eight great-grandchildren.
