MUNFORDVILLE — Hattie Chaney, 93, of Munfordville died at 4:15 p.m. May 11, 2008, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave. The Larue County native was born Nov. 29, 1914. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Mount Zion Separate Baptist Church in Magnolia. She was a daughter of the late John Thomas Hines and Ada Miller Hines and the wife of the late Omer Shively Chaney. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brooks Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery in Magnolia. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters, Lana Margaret Chaney and Lola Bunnell and her husband, Jerry, all of Munfordville; two sons, Omer Madison Chaney and his wife, Pam, of Lexington and Gerald Wayne Chaney of Munfordville; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
