FRANKLIN — David Nettles, 74, of Franklin died May 9, 2008, at the VA Hospital in Jackson, Miss. The Macomb, Miss., native was retired from the Kendall Co. and Ruebensville Feed Mill and was an Army veteran. He was a son of the late Willie Lee Nettles and Jennie Vee Mercier Nettles and the husband of the late Shirley Wood Nettles. Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home, with burial in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today and at 6 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Allen of Franklin; a daughter, Jackie DeMarches of Franklin; a brother, Jesse Nettles of Madison, Ohio; a sister, Emma Hesketh of Jackson, Miss.; five grandchildren, Heather Jarman, Kristi Woolbright, John DeMarches III, Michaela DeMarches and Nathaniel DeMarches; and seven great-grandchildren.
