MORGANTOWN — Gary Drexel McCoy, 54, of Morgantown died May 12, 2008, at Logan Memorial Hospital. The Warren County native was a retired EMT for Butler County Ambulance Service and was retired from the Morgantown Volunteer Fire Department. He was a son of the late Newel Proctor McCoy and Drexel “Drake” McCoy. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Chapel, with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel .com. Survivors include his wife, Janice M. McCoy; a son, Jamie D. McCoy of Morgantown; three sisters, Patricia McCoy and her companion, Mark Dockery, of Welches Creek, Marecia Chandler and her husband, Darrell, of Logansport and Donna McCoy of Morgantown; a brother, Myron McCoy of Morgantown; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends; his mother-in-law, Gladys Neighbors of Morgantown; his father-in-law, William Neighbors and his companion, Patty Matterson, of Morgantown; and a brother-in-law, David Neighbors and his wife, Brandi, of Missouri.
