| HORSE CAVE — Eugene Jewell, 80, of Canmer died at 2:18 a.m. May 5, 2003, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. The Hart County native was a farmer and a member of the church in Canmer. He was a son of the late Joe Jewell and Lora Denton Jewell. He was preceded in death by a son, William Harold and a grandson, Tracey McKinney. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Winn Funeral Home with burial in Cosby Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today and will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon McKinney and husband, Leroy, of Canmer; four sons, Michael Eugene Jewell of Elizabethtown, Charles Russell Jewell of Tennessee, Donald Wayne Harrison of Missouri and Josh Robertson of Linwood; a brother, John Jewell of Mount Sherman; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. | |
