| David Lambert Waddell, 25, of Alvaton died Oct. 30, 2009, at his residence from a traumatic accident. The Bowling Green native was born Jan. 17, 1984. He was a loving father, husband, son and friend. His greatest joy in life was playing with his beautiful daughter, Allison, who was the light of his life. He was known by all as an avid deer and duck hunter, and enjoyed the sport of fishing and frog gigging. He loved spending time in the woods, waiting always for the next hunting season. He attended Greenwood High School and Bowling Green Technical College. David was employed as a tool and die maker at Sumitomo of Scottsville. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of Bowling Green. He was a son of Gregory Waddell and Judith Gover-Waddell of Bowling Green, who survive. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leigh Peterson Waddell. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Other survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Wahl; a daughter, Allison Waddell of Alvaton; two brothers, Eric Waddell and his wife, Caralee, of Aurora, Colo., and Ryan Waddell and his wife, Amy, of Scottsville; a sister, Nicole Robinson and her husband, Joshua, of Franklin; grandparents, Robert J. and Dora Gover of Bowling Green and Carolyn Waddell of Bismark, N.D.; nieces and nephews, Kyle, Brinkley, Ethan, Lucas, Jonah, Jacob, Ashton and Emma; uncles and aunts, Dr. John and Beth Gover of Bowling Green, Bob and Margo Gover of Alpharetta, Ga.; cousins, Bobby Gover, Samantha Luciano, Harrison and Hamilton Gover, and Courtney, Cameron and Caitlin Gover; his mother- and father-in-law, Rodger and Glenda Wahl of Bowling Green; a brother-in-law, Shane Wahl; and a grandmother-in-law, Patricia Wahl of Owensboro. | |
