David Calvin Wilson, 65, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2009, at his residence. The Warren County native was a retired employee of Holley Carburetor, a retired farmer, a member and deacon at Meadowland Baptist Church and a Vietnam-era Army veteran. He was a son of the late Calvin Wilson and Anna Myrl Atchley Wilson. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Barbara Wilson. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, with burial in Plum Springs Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.hardyandsonfuneralhomes.com. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Orange Wilson; three sons, Jeff Wilson and his wife, Kelly, of Louisville and Brian Wilson and his wife, Tiffany, and David Wilson, all of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Max and Tyson Wilson, both of Louisville, and Dylan, Macey, Makayla and Preston Wilson, all of Bowling Green; two sisters, Sue Johnson and her husband, Dale, of Bowling Green and Martha Page and her husband, Mike, of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.
