Cova A. Logsdon, 95, of Louisville died Nov. 4, 2009, in Louisville. The Edmonson County native was a retired teacher and librarian for Clarkson School and Jefferson County Schools and was a member of Kentucky Education Association. She was a daughter of the late John Lashley and Donia Duvall Lashley and the wife of the late Elmer L. Logsdon. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Terry Logsdon Jr. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is in progress until 8 p.m. today and is from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville chapel. Prayer service is at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include two sons, Louie Logsdon and his wife, Alice, of Leitchfield and Richard Logsdon and his wife, Victoria, of Corydon, Ind.; a daughter, Patsy Mudd Durbin and Bill Chelf of Louisville; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
