| Rhonda Carol Morris, 55, of Scottsville, died at 12:05 a.m. Nov. 18, 2009, at the Hospice Center. The Morganfield native was a company nurse at Eagle Industries for 16 years, cared for all employees as a mother would and loved caring for people. She was involved in the East West Kung-Fu Academy and worked at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church in Owensboro. She was a daughter of the late Lewis A. Peterson and Mary Virginia Moman Peterson, of Owensboro, who survives. Funeral is at 2 p.m. Friday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel. Funeral Mass is at 6:30 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen. Peterson, all of Owensboro; mother-in-law, Mary W. Fisher, of Bowling Green; a nephew, Nikalis Lindsey, of Owensboro; a niece, Britnee, of Owensboro; a sister-in-law, Sheila Matus and her sons, Kevin and Christopher Matus, all of Georgia; and extended Eagle family. | |
