Ruth W. Bown died Nov. 19, 2009, at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green. The Norristown, Pa., native was born Jan. 19, 1916. She was a daughter of the late Jonas and Anna Warmkessel and the wife of the late Capt. Thomas H. Bown, who died Nov. 11, 1994. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne Elizabeth Swanson, who died Oct. 4, 2009. Cremation was chosen and the remains will be interred in Norristown at a later date. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Luckett, of Russellville; seven grandchildren, Connie Corbin and her husband, Scott, Timothy Swanson and his wife, Shawna, and Emily Gaerlan and her husband, Art, all of Illinois, Kimberlie Wright and her husband, Danny, and Deborah Kondracki and her husband, David, all of Russellville, Elizabeth Hiatt, of Texas, and David Swanson of Wisconsin; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
