| Druie Brandon Jr., 64, of Tompkinsville, died Nov. 18, 2009, at his residence. The Monroe County native was born July 20, 1945. He was a son of the late Druie Brandon Sr. and Alta Goad Brandon. He married Lera Jo Grinestaff on June 28, 1969. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Reggie Brandon; and three sisters, Barbara Stinson, Maxine Wood and Myra Dean Taylor. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Strode Funeral Home, with burial in White Oak Ridge Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Friday and continues until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. Survivors include his wife, Lera Jo Grinestaff Brandon; a daughter, Betsy Brandon, of Edmonton; and two sisters, Daphna Mathews, of Bowling Green, and Phyllis Faulkner, of Glasgow. | |
