| Ruth Traylor Bartley Patterson, 85, of Glasgow, died Feb. 6, 2010, at her residence. The Glasgow native was a secretary and was formerly employed by Mitchell Enterprises, Dr. Robert Chase and Longhunters Realty Co. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Glasgow Garden Club, past president of Glasgow B&PW Club and an avid watercolor painter. She was a daughter of the late Carter Gates and Gladwyn Froedge Traylor and the wife of the late George W. Bartley and Ralph Stone Patterson. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m. today at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, Monday until 11 a.m. at the funeral home and from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 500 S. Green St., Glasgow, KY 42141. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Branstetter and her husband, Steve, of Summer Shade, and Kaye Cardwell and her husband, Kenny, of Bowling Green; two stepdaughters, Ann Patterson and Sue Humphrey and her husband, David, all of Lexington; two sisters, Chris Cloyd and Maude Isenberg and her husband, Doug, all of Glasgow; six grandchildren, Amber Branstetter Huffman and her husband, Chris, of Center, Bart Branstetter, of Summer Shade, Matthew Cardwell, of Bowling Green, Nancy Humphrey Grayson and her husband, Trey, of Walton, and Dr. Wendy Humphrey and her husband, Chris VanMeter, and Jonathan Humphrey, all of Lexington; four great-grandchildren, Colton and Cade Huffman and Alexandra and Katheryn Grayson; a nephew, Barry Isenberg; and a niece, Ellen Isenberg Bunch and her husband, Jeff. | |
