Edna McCellan Harlow, 85, of Bowling Green, died at 1 p.m. Feb. 4, 2010, at the Hospice Center. The Lawrenceburg, Tenn., native was a retired seamstress and clerk for Union Underwear for 46 years. She was a believer of the Christian faith and a member of Eastern Star for 50 years. She also was a member of Timberwolves 24 Club and the Athletic Fund at Western Kentucky University. She was a daughter of the late Robert Grover Green and Anna Lacroix Green and the wife of the late James B. McCellan and Thomas Harlow. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Green Pinick and Anna Vernon Green Cherry; and two brothers, William Shadrock Green and Robert Grover Green Jr. Memorial service is at 10 a.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green chapel, with a private burial in Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 1925 Old Louisville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
