| Jack D. Carver, 64, of Munfordville, died Feb. 5, 2010, at his residence. He was the owner of Green River Hill Grocery, retired from SKF, a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of Rio Verde Masonic Lodge No. 698 F&AM, the Timberlake Cemetery board of directors, the Linwood Fire Department board and Boiling Springs Baptist Church. He was a son of the late D.L. Carver and Beatrice Price Carver. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ferrell Carver. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday at Boiling Springs Baptist Church, with burial in Timberlake Cemetery in Munfordville. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, with masonic service at 7 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Brooks Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Kidd Carver; a son, Danny Rhea Carver and his wife, Amy, of Munfordville; a daughter, Candy Gray and her husband, Bruce, of Glasgow; two sisters, Connie Logsdon, of Munfordville, and Brenda West, of Pleasant Shade, Tenn.; two brothers, Eugene Carver and Gary L. Carver, both of Munfordville; and four grandchildren, Alex Berry, Tyler Carver, Averi Gray and Taylen Gray. | |
