Lucy Marion Kennedy, 75, of Russellville, died Feb. 7, 2010, at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green. The Logan County native was born Feb. 7, 1935. She was a homemaker, a babysitter and a member of Second Baptist Church for more than 38 years. She was a daughter of the late Ezbon and Harriett Browning Beauchamp. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Young Funeral Home, Russellville chapel, with burial in Russellville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and begins at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, George Kennedy; a son, Barry Kennedy and his wife, Beth, of Russellville; two daughters, Debbie McLellan and her husband, Robby, of Olmstead, and Lea Ann Williams and her husband, Matthew, of Murray; a brother, Tilden Beauchamp, of Auburn; a sister, Frances Soyars, of Russellville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
