State Representative Jim DeCesare makes an announcement regarding his future in politics.

At a news conference in Bowling Green on Dec. 17, DeCesare announced his intent to run for a third term.

The Republican state representative was first elected in 2004 and serves the 21st District.

"It's been an honor to serve and I feel like I still have a lot of accomplishments that I haven't reached yet. I feel I am representing the values of the citizens of the 21st District," Rep. DeCesare assured.

Some of the projects DeCesare hopes to accomplish through another term in office include bringing more road money to the area and helping Western Kentucky University get the resources it needs.
