Governor Steve Beshear names a former State Representative from Glasgow to his Cabinet.

According to the Glasgow Daily Times, Republican Steve Nunn will serve as Beshear's deputy secretary of Health and Family Services.

Nunn lost his bid for re-election to the State House in 2006.

During his time in the House, he was known as an expert on health and issues concerning the budget.

Nunn says he expects to focus on programs and work closely with constituent groups.

IS STEVE NUNN ON BOARD THE GAMBLING WHEEL AS WELL? SHAME ON THEM ALL . OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS DESERVE A LOT BETTER LEGACY THAN CRIME AND GET RICH QUICK SCHEMES THAT WILL ROB KENTUCKY FAMILIES OF HONEST CHARACTER LESSONS. RESEARCH THE HARD WORK THAT LINCOLN DID TO PAY THE GOVERNMENTS BILLS. HONEST WORK . CRIME INVOLVING DRUGS,GUNS,PROSTITUTION,AND LOAN SHARKS HAVE ALL MOVED IN AS THE GAMBLING WHEEL TURNS. IT IS NOT THE "WHEEL OF FORTUNE " THAT BESHEAR AND HIS GANG IS TRYING TO ROLL US OVER WITH NOW. PLEASE POST AND PRAY FOR OUR STATE AND COUNTRY.

I voted for a democrat so that democrats could once again oversee state government, if I would have wanted republicans to run things I would have voted for one. I am disappointed in all the appointments the new governor has made. Bipartisanism is great but nearly all cabinet appointees are republican. Looks like if you vote for me I will take care of you syndrome.
