The Senate's Republican leader says the economy doesn't need any more stimulus spending and the Obama administration should turn its attention toward dealing with the national debt.
Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky says he hopes the economy is starting to turn around. But he says he doesn't think the administration has much to do with the good economic news the government has received in recent days.
McConnell says the government shouldn't make its debt problem worse by spending more money -- one of the reasons he and other Republicans oppose Democratic plans for overhauling the health care system.
McConnell appeared on "Fox News Sunday."
