Republican Senator, Jim Bunning, was praised at a dinner last weekend.
Bunning came under fire after stalling an extension of jobless benefits.
Kentucky Secretary of State, Trey Grayson, said that history will show Bunning predicted some of the economic problems we're having now, and worked to try to prevent them.
Bunning is not running for re-election this Fall.
