Edmonson County Circuit Court has a new clerk today.

Tanya Luttrell was sworn in as Edmonson County Circuit Court Clerk Tuesday, replacing the retiring Sharon French.

Luttrell will serve out the remainder of French's term.

Luttrell says she started working at the Circuit Court Clerk's office at an early age and it's what she knows best.

"I've been here ever since. I love it and I enjoy doing it, quite honestly, it's the thing I know how to do the best. Not that I couldn't learn a new job, but I love being here and it's what I know and what I enjoy doing," said Luttrell.

Luttrell will run for election in May of 2013 and right now, she would be unopposed.
