All Seasons Beef in Oyster Sauce
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound round steak
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ground black pepper
  • 4 scallions cut into short lengths
  • 1 each red, green, and yellow bell peppers
  • Directions:
    Mix together soy sauce and cornstarch in a large bowl, add the beef and let marinate for 1 – 2 hours.

    Grill or smoke strips approx. 2 minutes to a side on medium heat. Set aside.

    Heat half the oil in a wok or frying pan and add garlic and ginger and simmer until fragrant. Add in beef and stir for 2 minutes.

    Heat remaining oil in separate frying pan and add in mushrooms and cook until tender. Mix in beef, oyster sauce, sugar, scallions and black pepper to taste and stir until well mixed and bubbly.

    Serve garnished with strips of multi-colored bell peppers.
