Recipe: Mixed Greens & Apple Salad

Ingredients:
1/3 cup Walnut halves
½ tsp. cinnamon sugar 1 pkg. mixed salad greens (about 1-2 cups) 1 medium apple, thinly sliced ½ cup 2% milk shredded cheese ¼ cup dried cranberries 1/3 cup light dressing |

Directions:
Spray a microwave-safe pie plate with cooking spray. Mix the nuts and cinnamon sugar together and spread evenly in the bottom of the pie plate. Microwave on high 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until the nuts are toasted.
Toss the greens with the apples, cheese, and cranberries. Add nuts and dressing before serving. |
