CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE (IGA)

Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups Flour
2 Cups Sugar 1 pkg. Chocolate Instant Pudding**** 1 tsp. Salt 1 tsp. Baking Soda 1 tsp. Baking Powder 1 cup Vegetable Oil 2 eggs 2 cups Buttermilk |

Directions:
Sift the dry ingredients together and make a well in the middle. Add the following:
1 cup Vegetable Oil 2 eggs 2 cups Buttermilk Mix well. Place into either a greased and floured pan or one sprayed with cooking spray. Pour into either a 9 X 13 pan or 2 round cake pans. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cakes cool and frost with your favorite frosting. ****You may use any flavor Instant Pudding you like, this will change to flavor of the cake you bake. STRAWBERRY FILLING Take ¼ cup Strawberry Preserves and add couple drops of water to thin a little. Frost top of bottom cake then spread Strawberry preserves on top. Put second cake on top and continue frosting entire cake. |
