Centre College may find out in November if it's the location for a 2008 presidential debate.
The Danville school is one of 16 institutions and organizations in the running for one of three presidential and one vice-presidential debates set for next year.
School officials believe the announcement can come as early as next month.
This wouldn't be the first time the school has hosted a presidential debate.
Back in 2000, Centre was the scene for the debate between Vice President Dick Cheney and Senator Joe Lieberman.
