BOOKING NOW FOR THE 2007-08 SCHOOL SEASON!
The WBKO First Alert Storm Team is coming to your school! Every school year, members of the First Alert Storm Team travel hundreds of miles across our viewing area to speak to thousands of South Central Kentucky kids about weather...and it seems each year, the number of requests for a classroom appearance grows.
This year, we want to organize the First Alert Weather Class a little better by giving you an opportunity to request a weather team member on line and to post our appearance schedules here.
BOOKING DATES ARE OPEN FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2007 AND EARLY 2008 - BUT BOOK IT NOW...DATES WILL BE GOING FAST!
All you need to do to have a First Alert Storm Team member to come and speak to your class is to send us an e-mail request at least two weeks before the day you'd like to have the classroom visit. All visits must be approved by a teacher or principal of the requesting school before we can agree to schedule a date of appearance. There is no limit to the number of students our weather team speaks to - only that we speak to students in one sitting - which lasts approximately one hour.
So, send us a request via e-mail by choosing which First Alert Storm Team member below you'd like to have come to your class at least two weeks or more from now. Keep in mind, the schedule will fill up fast as we head into January, February and March...so get your request in early!
