Final sentencing for a former tompkinsville teacher convicted of having sex with a 14 year-old middle school student has been postponed.

Angela comer was scheduled to be sentenced in monroe county circuit court today. She reached a plea agreement with prosecutors last month.

The plea agreement requires her to serve ten years in prison. Comer pleaded guilty to sodomy... And custodial interference as part of the deal.

The commonwealth attorney Jesse Stockton says the hearing is postponed until July 18th because a pre-sentencing evaluation has not been completed.
