Back in May, area students were let out for summer and school buses also took a break .

County buses spent three months in maintenance at the Warren County Pupil Transportation Dept.

Now, bus drivers are ready to start up their engines and hit the streets on those long morning and afternoon drives.

This year, drivers have a new route to remember thanks to the addition of Plano Elementary.

But drivers say students can expect a smooth ride.

"Our technicians have spent the summer going through each and every bus. The state requires certain specifications be met for each and every bus and those have been taken care of at this point," W.C.H. Area Manager Marsha Young said.

The Warren County Pupil Transportation Dept. says bus drivers will be in attendance at the ten school open houses on July 31.

The department encourages parents attending to meet the person driving their child.
