FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- The draft, Digital Learning 2020, was presented at the board's meeting in Frankfort on Wednesday.

It calls for ensuring all students in Kentucky have access to digital learning, gravitating toward all-digital textbooks and teaching materials, and looking at options such as linking funding to student performance in online courses.

David Cook, director of the education department's innovation division, told board members that digital learning is about not only at-home access, but also getting schools to consider more online options.

The board is holding its regular meeting in Frankfort.
