If today was unproductive for the town of Scottsville, you could certainly understand.

The Patriots are playing in their first state championship game and the fans are ready to paint Bowling Green red.

"I would say that it's in hyper drive right now. I think everyone is going to be. It's one of the best things that has happened to Allen County in a long time," Barry Dyer said.

Buildings and cars were painted with support, signs were placed along Scottsville road and banners were hung.

They are ready to celebrate a championship and they plan on bringing the whole town to the game.

"Yea we've already put up large signs, will the last person leaving Scottsville please turn off the lights," Bob Pitchford.

The school held a pep rally this afternoon to fire everyone up

And while most, if not all fans know who they are rooting for, one may be unsure.

Dr. John Hall has two grandsons playing tonight.

One for ACS and one for, believe it or not, their opponent Boyle County.

He says it isn't that hard of a decision.

"I'm going to sit on the Patriots side because I have been sitting there ever since we started and I'm not going to stop tonight," he said.
