If ever it were appropriate to say a player had a "career night", it'd be appropriate when talking about Barren County quarterback Blake Crabtree's performance Friday against Ohio County.
Crabtree finished 14-of-21 passing for 185 yards and five TDs while rushing 12 times for 133 yards and another score as the Trojans (3-3) beat Ohio County 49-28.
Coty Lynn contributed on the ground to the Trojans' big offensive night, carrying 25 times for 137 yards and a touchdown. Nick Compton led Barren County's receiving corps with three catches for 71 yards and two scores while Zack Austin caught five balls for 66 yards and two touchdowns of his own.
The Eagles (3-3) were led by Will Danks. He amassed 112 rushing yards and 110 receiving, accounting for two touchdowns. Ohio County quarterback Sam Kidd finished 25-of-36 through the air for 178 yards and three scores.
Next week, Barren County travels to Warren Central while the Eagles are off before an October 12th visit from Hopkins County Central.
