It took less than one minute Friday night to know Warren East wasn't going to experience a let down after a big win against Franklin-Simpson last week.
Raiders quarterback Jordan Ellis hooked up with Demetric Ray on a 50-yard touchdown pass to give Warren East its first touchdown in the opening stanza of its dominating win in a Class 4A District 2 matchup.
By the time the Raiders were done scoring, they had a 58-0 victory.
Warren East followed that scoring play with a 21-yard touchdown run from Shenard Holton, then Terrance Dunn completed the next Raider drive with a two-yard touchdown run that helped Warren East to a 35-0 halftime lead.
Dunn caught another touchdown pass in the third quarter from backup quarterback Andrew Alvey to extend the Raiders lead to 42-0.
The Raiders (6-0, 3-0 Class 4A District 2), who clinched the top seed in the district playoffs, travel to Russell County next Friday while Logan County (3-3, 1-1) visits Allen County-Scottsville.
