Kentucky's Special Olympic athletes receive a key to the city.
Bowling Green's City Commission recognized the international basketball champions at the Oct. 16 meeting.
Mayor Elaine Walker presented the team with a golden key to the city, representing their hard work and our community while bringing home the gold.
The key will be displayed at Bowling Green's Parks and Recreation Center.
