Bryon Ellis didn't throw much against Adair County but then again, he didn't have to.
The Russell County junior quarterback was 4-of-4 passing for 103 yards and three touchdowns in the Lakers' 49-6 win at Adair County.
David Wooldridge was the other offensive star for Russell County (3-7), catching two of Ellis' passes for 59 yards and a score, while rushing for a 68-yard touchdown on his only carry of the night.
The Lakers' final yardage total wasn't eye-popping - they only gained 284 yards - but they held the Indians (0-9) to just 94 yards on the evening.
Russell County now awaits Logan County and Allen County-Scottsville's results next week to determine if the Lakers emerge from their three-way tie in Class 4A District 2, while Adair County closes its season at Metcalfe County.
