NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas has been named AFC special teams player of the month for October.
Bironas made 13 of 14 field goals and all six PATs as he helped the Titans earn a 3-1 record for the month.
He accounted for 45 of the team's 81 points in October and currently ranks second in the NFL in scoring with 67 points.
He made an NFL-record eight field goals against Houston on Oct. 21.
It's his first player of the month award.
