Though thousands of Western Kentucky fans are in Mobile, some area residents are proving you don't have to leave Bowling Green to support the Hilltoppers and Lady Toppers.

The fans started filing in to Double Dogs around 3 o'clock to watch the Lady Toppers take on MTSU. There was a lot of confidence coming from this group of WKU supporters with special praise reserved for star players Crystal Kelly and Courtney Lee.

"I think they've got a pretty good chance," says one patron. "They've really done well these last two games and they really went out there and represented."

"I feel confidant with both the Lady Toppers and the mens team being in the Sunbelt," adds another man watching the game. "Both will do very well and represent the city well in a good tournament."

"I didn't make too much noise yesterday, but hopefully, I won't make too much noise," laughs another patron. "As long as I don't bother anybody else, I guess it's okay."

Patrons say they'll be disappointed to see Courtney Lee leave WKU when he graduates this May, but they're hopeful that he'll be drafted into the NBA.
