COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina's basketball coach Darrin Horn made his old staff at Western Kentucky his new staff with the Gamecocks.

Horn said Wednesday his former Hilltopper assistants Scott Cherry, Cypheus Bunton and Neill Berry have joined him at South Carolina. Cherry and Bunton will be Gamecocks assistants, while Berry's role has not yet been determined.

Horn would have one more assistant slot to fill.

Cherry joined Western Kentucky last season. Before that he was an assistant at George Mason for four years and was part of that team's miracle run to the 2006 Final Four.

Bunton had been with Horn at Western Kentucky the past four seasons. Berry was on Horn's staff the last three years.

Horn took the South Carolina job last week.
