Standout quarterback Elijah Fleener graduated in 2012, leaving a big hole at that position. Or maybe not.
This fall, the Bears have two transfer quarterbacks competing for the starting job. Bryce Shanklin (Todd County Central) and Jimmy Burns (Warren East) come to Morgantown after starting under center at their previous school in 2012.
In the accompanying video clip, the quarterbacks discuss how competing with each other in practice makes them better players.
On Thursday, the Wendy's Countdown To Kickoff visits the Logan County Cougars. Be sure to watch WBKO at 6 and 10.
