The coroner’s office releases the name of a pregnant woman who died after being severely beaten last night.

Deputy coroner Dwayne Lawrence says 18-year-old Okari Moore of Bowling Green was pronounced dead around 10:15 last night at The Medical Center.

Just after nine yesterday evening Bowling Green police were called to an assault at Grant Village Apartments. Once there they found Moore severely beaten and transported her to the hospital where she later died.

The coroner’s office confirms she was 22 weeks pregnant. A suspect is in custody. 29-year-old Michael Cofer was arrested on a murder charge early this morning. He's being held without bond in the Warren County Jail.
