NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Titans placed running back Rafael Little on the physically unable to perform list to reach the roster limit of 75 by the NFL deadline.
Now the rookie out of Kentucky has more time to continue his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and show them what he might be able to do later this year.
Asked if Little has a chance to make the roster, coach Jeff Fisher said Tuesday the Titans have time on that decision. Fisher said Little is not ready now but is way ahead of schedule.
Little tore his left ACL at the Senior Bowl in January. He is one of only three in Southeastern Conference history with 2,500 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving.
