A stifling Monroe County defense limited Barren County to just 63 yards of total offense as the visiting Falcons (4-0) stayed unbeated with a 21-0 win over the Trojans (1-3) Friday night.

The Falcons had no such offensive issues, amassing 246 yards rushing and letting their defense do the rest.

Next week, Monroe County hosts its opener in Class AA, District 3 play against Metcalfe County while the Trojans open Class 5A, District 2 play against Grayson County.
