Gill Thomas finished 6-of-13 passing for 134 yards and a touchdown as visiting Barren County (2-4) beat Ohio County on Friday night, 34-26.
The Trojans raced out to a 28-0 lead in the first half, but the Eagles (1-5) rushed for 253 yards and scored four times on the ground to make up some of the difference. Quarterback Brandy Moore led the Eagles with 12-of-25 passing for 162 yards.
Barren County hosts a district contest with Warren Central next week while Ohio County is off before visiting Hopkins County Central on Oct. 17th.
