TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Arkansas State's Donald Boone had 26 points Monday night and scored the winning basket with 43 seconds left in a 56-54 victory over winless Indiana State.

Boone, who came off the bench, hit 10 of 13 shots and was the only player for the Red Wolves (5-1) scoring in double figures. JeJuan Brown added seven points, while Ifeanyi Koggu had nine assists and Eric McKinney had five blocked shots.

Indiana State (0-5) was led by Jay Tunnell with 16 points and Rashad Reed with 15.

The Sycamores led by 13 points midway through the first half, but Arkansas State pulled within 25-23 at halftime and took its first lead at 26-25 on a 3-pointer by Boone early in the second half.

There were three ties after that before Boone hit the winning shot.
