LAFAYETTE, La. -- Travis Bureau led four players in double figures with 18 points and Louisiana-Lafayette defeated Louisiana-Monroe 86-58 on Monday night.
Lamar Roberson added 15 off the bench, Ryan McCoy scored 13 and Chris Gradnigo had 11 for the Ragin' Cajuns (4-4, 1-0 Sunbelt Conference).
Louisiana-Lafayette shot 53.2 percent from the field (33 of 62), while going 6-for-12 from 3-point range. The Ragin' Cajuns held the Warhawks (2-7, 0-1) to just 27.1 shooting (16 of 59).
Rudy Turner had 18 points for Louisiana-Monroe and Lawrence Gilbert added 16.
Turner grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds, including seven on the offensive end for Louisiana-Monroe, which lost the battle of the boards 36-31.
