JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Ben Smith scored 19 points and Marcus Allen notched a double-double to propel Jacksonville to an 86-73 win over Troy on Monday night.
Allen scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Dolphins (3-7), while Ayron Hardy scored 16 and Aric Brooks chipped in with 10. Smith was 5-for-7 from beyond the arc, while Hardy was a perfect 2-for-2.
Michael Vogler led the Trojans (5-8) with 16 points, Mario Telfair added a season-high 15 and Richard Delk had 14.
The Dolphins scored 29 points off a season-high 20 turnovers from the Trojans in the contest, which snapped Troy's nine-game winning streak in the series.
Jacksonville outscored Troy 45-36 in the second after leading by four points at the break, shooting 55.9 percent from the field (19 of 34) in the half to seal the win.
