Less than a month from the start to high school volleyball practice, Warren East is left looking for a volleyball coach.

Jen Legge stepped down as Lady Raiders' coach after four seasons at the school, East athletic director Jonathan Vincent said in an e-mail release Tuesday.

According to the e-mail, Legge accepted an assistant coaching position at Henderson County High School.

Legge compiled a 74-42 record in four seasons, leading East to two 4th Region tournament appearances - including a semifinal berth in 2006. The Lady Raiders finished 26-9 in 2008, but lost in the 12th District semifinals for a second straight year.

According to Vincent, East has already posted the job opening and hopes to have someone in place before players and coaches can have contact July 15th.

The Lady Raiders open the 2009 season on August 13th at Butler County.
