LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Jake Lanefski, Kentucky's top reserve at center and guard, is out for the rest of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in his knee.
Coach Rich Brooks said in a statement from the school Wednesday that Lanefski suffered the injury Tuesday at practice and will undergo surgery.
The Courier-Journal reports cornerback Paul Warford, who has been recovering from a strained quadriceps muscle, has returned to practice and could play when the Wildcats travel to Auburn for a game Saturday night.
