LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Even though Kentucky coach Rich Brooks is battling a cold, he joked that he's "probable" for Saturday's game against Mississippi State.

It's the rest of the Wildcats that he's worried about.

Cornerback Trevard Lindley, linebacker Micah Johnson, running back Derrick Locke and quarterback Mike Hartline are just a few of the Wildcats who are either out or questionable for Saturday's game against the Bulldogs (3-5, 1-3) due to injury.

Brooks said it's typical for teams to be pretty beat up at this time of the season and that it's time for some of the younger players on the team to step up.

Kentucky has won two straight, but Brooks called this game the biggest of the season because it could give the Wildcats a leg up in their quest for a fourth straight bowl bid.
