Climo Takes PDGA's Bowling Green Open

Twelve time Professional Disc Golf champion Ken Climo had to fight to the very end to hold off a feisty Coda Hatfield by one stroke in the Bowling Green Open at Lover's Lane

Climo birdied the eighth hole to break a tie with Hatfield. Then Hatfield 's par attempt hit a tree and he double bogeyed the final hole while Climo bogeyed to hang for the victory.

Climo finished at -31 and Hatfield was right behind him at -30. Climo entered the day two shots up on Hatfield but bogeyed the sixth hole and watched his lead dwindle to one.

On the seventh Hatfield used a birdie to deadlock the score. However, on the eighth hole Hatfield narrowly missed a third consecutive birdie to fall one back heading into the final hole.

Des Reading defended her title on the women's side with a score of +3, eight strokes ahead of Angela Tschiggfrie.
