Regional championships are complete in Kentucky's high school football playoffs and three teams from south central Kentucky are still alive for their respective state championships.

Greenwood, Bowling Green and Monroe County will all play semifinal games in their respective classes after each won regional championship games on Friday night.

The Gators visited Henderson County, taking a 10-7 halftime lead and rolling to a 31-7 victory in the Class 6A, Region 1 final. It was the Gators' school-record tenth win this season and puts them in their first-ever regional final. They'll host No. 1 St. Xavier next week after the Tigers' 48-34 win over Simon Kenton in the Region 2 title game. The Tigers are 12-1 and haven't lost multiple games in a season since 2006.

Bowling Green won 28-14 in the Class 5A, Region 1 title game at Christian County. The Purples were tied 14-14 with the Colonels before scoring twice in the second half to provide the final margin. With the win, the Purples advance to the state semifinals for the fourth time in five seasons. They'll host John Hardin next week after the Bulldogs won the Region 2 title with a win over Oldham County.

Monroe County won Class 2A, Region 2 with a 39-14 win at Green County. It avenged the Falcons' loss to the Dragons during the regular season and set them up for a rematch at Fort Campbell in the state semifinals. Fort Campbell beat Monroe County last season en route to a second-straight Class 2A state title.
